The Visitation

In the heart of Mans, on the Place de la République, is the Leprince Hôtel, a true sophisticated oasis within the former Convent of La Visitation dating from the 18th century. In 2019, the cloister was renovated to become a real “resort” with shops and restaurants. Florists, game shops, cafés and artist galleries have taken up residence in this haven of peace. The bars and restaurants, from the French bistro to the salad bar, including burgers, the Italian restaurant, the wine bar and the beer bar, will offer you a varied choice of delights to taste.

The renovation of the building made it possible to elegantly combine the baroque and the modern. Crossing the large monumental porch, you will discover an interior courtyard with its period facade decorated with wrought iron windows and balconies. The rooms are accessible by a superb staircase with steps in limestone and schist cabochon, decorated with a majestic ironwork banister. The Louis XV style is displayed with large openings, high ceilings and period fireplaces, giving grandeur to the spaces. Everything is enhanced by a bold mix of modern colors around black and yellow. Your visit will end in the vaulted cellars, renovated to accommodate the spa.
